“Inner Work” brings together seven artists for a visual dialogue that examines the space between the finished product and the preliminary mental possibility. The exhibition operates on two levels: it will perform the work that takes place inside the closed studio, but at the same time, points to the introspective journey (introspection) that the artist goes through in front of the raw materials.
In this exhibition, the concept of “work” is not measured only by technique or labor, but rather the artist’s permission to distill an emotion or thought into a visual memory object. The works on display move on the axis between the abstract and the representation, between the material and the spiritual, and invite the viewer to pause their gaze and find in the content an echo of human complexity.
